Devices:

To shrink electronic devices, governing equations on electrons' behavior changed from hydrodynamic drift-diffusion equations to quantum NEGF (Non-Equilibrium Green's Function) equations. Accordingly, in QNRL we perform electronic device simulations based on quantum transport. In addition, in our lab, projects of simulation and calculation of spintronic and plasmonic devices, organic electronic devices, and optical devices are performed. To do this, we use various software and codes such as MATLAB, SIESTA, Silvaco, COMSOL and Atomistix ToolKit (ATK). Generally, these studies can be divided in the following sections:

1- Quantum transport in nanoelectronic devices

2- Spintronic devices

3- Plasmonics

4- Organic electronic devices

5- Optoelectronics
